- Go to the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) website: You know where you booked your first appointment? Yes, that’s where you will reschedule your appointment. Visit the official website of the Nigeria Immigration Service. The website URL is https://appointments.immigration.gov.ng/
- Locate the appointment reschedule page: Once you’re on the NIS website, check the top right-hand corner, you will see the passport rescheduling link. Click on this link to access the passport appointment rescheduling portal.
- Log in to your account: If you have previously created an account during the initial application process, log in using your credentials (username and password). If you haven’t created an account yet, you’ll need to register and create one to proceed.
- Access the passport appointment management section: After logging in, you will complete the first step. It contains three steps, on the second step, you’ll be presented with a calendar or list of available dates and times for appointments. Select a new date and time that best suits your schedule. Be warned that the appointment slots fill up quickly, so choose an alternative as soon as possible.
- Confirm your rescheduled appointment: After selecting a new appointment slot, review the details to ensure that the date is ok with you. Once you’re satisfied, confirm the rescheduled appointment. You may be asked to confirm your decision once more to proceed.
